This week I read David Hewson's The Killing III (417 pages), Lee Child's fourth Jack Reacher novel, The Visitor (512 pages), and as planned Hannah Kent's Burial Rites (337 pages).
I made a modest start on Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales for Young and Old, reading 46 pages.
On Sunday I also made a start on Therese Anne Fowler's Z: a novel of Zelda Fitzgerald, reading 106 pages.
I continued with my audiobook-in-the-car Kerry Greenwood's Dead Man's Chest, listening to the equivalent of 65 pages.
My page count for the week was 1,483 .
I caught up on reviews and only have the review for Burial Rites outstanding.
This coming week I plan to complete Z: a novel of Zelda Fitzgerald, and to read Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, another short-listed title for the 2014 Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction. I will also continue with the Pullman Grimm tales at a leisurely pace.
