NaNoWriMo 2013 Winner!
Worked for a couple of hours to finish off my latest NaNoWriMo novel. I usually finish on 28th/29th but last night was within 800 words of finishing.
This year writing was a bit of a hard slog as my health wasn't brilliant this month and at times I was quite uninspired. Yet I found inspiration and discipline and finished with 50,534 in the official count, though my Open Office file amounted to about 1,200 more than this. I expect this now though.
Always such a wonderful feeling to cross that finish line, validate the word count and get the Winner's Page flash up with various goodies including the opportunity to order winner's t-shirt, which I did.
Shall celebrate by watching Amazon for more Black Friday deals (couple of DVDs I want are coming up though only if they are low enough). Yesterday I bought the just released Season 7 of Doctor Who for good price. They went very quickly.
I also have telly and reading to do and perhaps a small cake to celebrate another completed NaNoWriMo.
