Health and safety policy
The management team known as ‘team metal’ are dedicated to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors, patrons and persons otherwise involved in a ‘team metal’ hosted event.
In order to uphold the teams high standards for duty of care, we will make every suitable effort to provide a safe working environment that minimises or eliminates exposure to risk or personal injury, ill health or damage to property. This includes:
• Providing team members and contractors with appropriate training and site inductions
• Providing safe equipment and systems of work.
• Regular consultation with team members and contractors on health and safety issues.
‘Team metal’ promotes a safe working culture and functions on the belief that it is the collective responsibility of everyone within the team to use communication and cooperative efforts, in order to achieve the safest possible working environment.
A safe culture will be reinforced through:
• Identifying, assessing and minimising risk to the health and safety of the team, contractors, visitors and the public that may arise in the venue location.
• The provision of information concerning risks and the promotion, instruction, training and supervision of ‘team metal’ and contractors to ensure safe work practices.
• Giving the team, contractors and customers the opportunity to participate in health and safety decisions that effect them.
In the interest of maintaining safety, contractors, visitors and customers are required to observe and comply with all health and safety standards and rules produced. This includes any safety signage or warnings, or instruction given by any team member whilst on the premises or at the event.
