Meter Maid on the Loose!!!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm safe and sound. It looks like Hurricane Rita is going to go south of me. They're not expecting to have to evacuate Miami Beach, but we're starting to feel the outer bands. Strong gusts and horizontal rain one minute; clear skys the next.
They have canceled the day tomorrow because it's going to be windy and rainy. Anyway, I've got bread and water, so I won't starve through my hurricane initiation.
I feel like going to the beach now and taking some pictures. Ciao!!
