(no subject)
Not in the mood to be in the office; and yet, here I am, photocopying music like a madwoman and getting ready for my kids. The perk is they are damn cute. But that can also be used as a disadvantage since it's noticeably more difficult to whip really really cute kids into shape.....those bigs eyes and high voices.
The show last night was fun - very different from the usual, and as such much more relaxed. It was an interesting mix of people as well. I got a lot of phone numbers at the end, one guy more or less demanding I call him, this other guy (whom I don't know that well at all) taking the more ernest and plaintive approach. Of course, guy from previous post was there. He informed me that his relationship is now officially over (or something to that effect), and wants to take me to dinner on Tuesday. I was extremely non-committal. One of the guitar players was thoroughly confused as he witnessed it all, and took plenty of time to give me crap once the place finally cleared out.
I find the life of a hermit suddenly an appealing option. I actually really like being single right now. It kicks ass.
