This is the life
Oh, I'm tired. Wiped out.
First official day (night) bartending last night. The tips were pretty damn good, I've gotta say. It's funny though, because only working at this bar do I arrive home at 3 am pretty tipsy. I've also never been hit so much on in such a small period of time before. It was outlandish. Just as this Middle Eastern dude was telling me how he couldn't keep his thoughts straight because I was so "beautiful," this other dude from the Big Easy walks up and responds to my question "What do you want?" with "You," completely intimidating the first guy. Then this other dude kept jumping up to hug me every time I walked past, and this pyscho political dude wouldn't leave the bar, and kept asking me what I thought about this, that, and the other, writing down half of what I said.
The taste of sake is still kinda in my mouth and getting up this morning was one of the hardest things I've done in a long time.
Checking out a car this afternoon. Keep yer fingers crossed. Also must rehearse for show on Saturday night and then possibly check out ex-boyfriend-rapper's show next door afterward, just out of curiosity. Can't help myself.
Finals are next week, and shit, am I ready for the ensuing break afterward. Thank God. I think I'll sleep for a week.
