Rapist night on the radio?
Okay so here's a sampling of lyrics from two different songs that played on the radio last night within 5 minutes of each other:
"Come get in my car....I won't hurt you..unless you tell me to..hurt you....Take your clothes off...I want to photograph you....capture you on digital.....I want to touch you...", etc, etc, etc.
"I want to violate you...desecrate you...penetrate you...complicate you....I want to fuck you like an animal...", etc.
Or something like that.
Cool, somebody out there realizes we are animalistic beings. Even better, radio stations are playing songs that are essentially rapist fantasies sung/spoken to "sexy" beats. I had to stop both mid-way through, calling the "singers" assholes and opting, oddly enough, for sappy pop.
