(no subject)
So I'm sitting at work because it's really quiet, typing away on the keyboard, because there's not much else to do right now (ooh! guy with Morrissey shirt just walked past - Adam and Esther both would be so tickled). Went to Huckleberries for my lunch break, where I found out I had just missed Sandra Day O'Connor by a hair's breadth.
This job really is outta control fun (except when there is really nothing to do). Hour long lunches, smoke breaks, watching Led Zepplin and Tori Amos concerts or Police or Beatles music videos, fiddling around with violins, violas, pianos, and the like, benefits, free passes to the Big Easy, etc, etc. Pretty awesome, really.
Got so much sleep Monday night that I had to rectify the situation last night by staying out practically until J & D's closed, then getting up at 7 a.m.
I meet up with the chair of Eastern's music dept. soon to discuss getting my master's and teaching certificate all in one fell swoop.
Trying to conserve dollars like crazy due to the eventual return to school, and the trip to Spain in the fall. Yeah, this trip will mark my second European birthday. So that'll be fun.
My back hurts like hell. Aside from taking pain killers, I'm not sure what else to do at this point. Sucks when every physical therapist in the city has ended up shrugging their shoulders at your state. Certainly not very reassuring.
Does anyone know when Rum Diary is scheduled for release? Curious minds want to know.
Absolutely must clean out my car. Sometime this weekend, let's hope.
