Home REALLY Sweet Home
Had a good site visit in Salt Lake City with a client I really enjoy.
I traded sitting in first class and getting home at 9:30 PM for squeezing into coach (yes, I'm a spoiled business traveler) but a 7 PM arrival - huzzah! Had our favorite Spicy Beef Salad Bowl from Surin Thai Bowl in Decatur. Yum.
Catching up on Veronica Mars and Daily Shows, and will probably watch the new Battlestar tonight.
Plus much snugglin' and lovin' with the hubby.
The diet I'm currently on - to help increase the effects of the Metformin and enable me to become fertile - mandates avoiding refined sugar as much as possible. I've never really had a sweet tooth (I love when other people get dessert and give me one bite, and that one taste sates my craving for sweetness) - but you know how when you can't have something, how suddenly it's all you want? Now I dream of buttercream frosting, succulent marzipan, moist chocolate cake, and all things sweet and creamy.
It's driving me nuts.
Hubby bought mini-ice cream sandwiches. Mini goodness.
So nice to be home.... and for TWO WHOLE WEEKS before I head back to Salt Lake City! Hubby and kitty are both happy about this.
Things I need to LJ about this weekend (or on Monday when I'm taking a day off from work to laze about the house):
* Fun at the Kohler NSM
* Why Good Chick Flicks are Important
* Much delayed book reports of the 6+ books I've read so far this year
* Why Abortion MUST Remain Legal or Women Will Be In Peril (a topic raised in the book I'm reading right now, which describes an illegal abortion in the 1940's)
