Nice surprises
I'm here in Kohler, Wisconsin with the Pres of my company. Great guy. Anyhow, the other day it was announced that we would not be getting bonuses because we didn't meet our goal for the year. At the airport this evening, Pres handed me a very nice check and said he was sorry it couldn't be more, but that I deserved it, and was one of VERY FEW (he kept stressing that) who received a bonus this year.
Isn't that nice? :-)
Hubby and I generally have a policy that half of any bonuses received by either one of us needs to go towards our credit card bill that we're trying to pay off, but he said I should keep the whole amount :-)
*yawn*
Must go to sleep now. Meeting in the morning, then back to Atlanta in the evening. Busy week ahead of me.
