Snow glorious snow!
1. It's snowing. In Atlanta! Big fluffy flurries of whiteness and it is, for the moment at least, actually sticking. What fun! Of course I'm not sure how this will affect my mother-in-law who is flying in from Ohio tomorrow around noon...
2. Thanks to WOXY Vintage 'net radio I discovered another bizarre punk song to share. This time it's by The Circle Jerks, the title is "Golden Shower of Hits (Jerks on 45)", and it's basically a punk medley of "Along Comes Mary", "Close To You", "Afternoon Delight", and "Love Will Keep Us Together", along with a few others. Very odd. True to form (for the CJs) the vocal quality sucks, but I'm generally entertained by punk covers of very non-punk songs. Husband has been collecting those for a while and found some true gems. I wouldn't say this qualifies as a gem, but it's entertaining.

This one shows you the spread of religion around the world over the course of history. This one shows the various empires that had hold of the Middle East throughout history. Both are pretty astounding.
4. Update on the Fish Situation: He's dead, Jim. For god's sake man, I'm a meeting planner not an ichthyologist.
