viber ubuntu 20.04

не работает viber: падает в корку.

core dumped

snap версии (viber-mtd и viber-unofficial) запускаются, но не могут подключиться к сети.

вот такие простыни при запуске

shm_open() failed: Permission denied

решение оказалось простое (но долгое): viber-у нужен qt5

sudo apt-get install qt5-default

ну и пользователя добавить в группы audio/video/network

это я уже перебирал варианты
