Saturday working fun
Still here at work. Been here since about 7:40. Sigh! At least it's kind of a rainy day so I don't feel ripped off by missing a day. Though it looks like I will need to come back in tomorrow. To finish my exercises since the system is working really slow. Though I might do some today since John won't be home til after 6:00. It would be nice to have at least 1 day this week when I'm not at work. Dare to dream.
Class didn't go that well today. We had just a few technical issues and that is very frustrating. Not to mention that things I brought up to the class yesterday they totally forgot today. Oh well. At least I've made it through a week of training. Only 4 more weeks to go. Let me tell you that I will most definitely be enjoying my Thanksgiving break and will definitely be taking some days off in December.
I'm feeling really worn out right now. Oh well, this too will pass. But I am hoping that for next week I won't have to work late too much and maybe I can even start to work out a bit.
I did manage to cook some dinner last night and am rather proud of that fact. I made a sort of Spanish-style bean dish. I chopped up some sausage and sauteed it til it was brown. Then I threw in some salsa since I didn't have any onions or a chili in the house. THen in went some wine and chopped tomatoes and seasoning and a can of drained chickpeas and let that all cook down for a bit. At the very end, I threw in some sherry vinegar. It was very tasty and very quick to make. Everything tastes better with sausage.
Ok, back to working on pulling data.
