Happy Vacation Day
Yep, I'm on a vacation day and what have I done today? Not much I have to say. I got to sleep in. Which was something I really needed because I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights. It was a perfect night for sleeping too, nice and cool out with a nice breeze coming in the windows. I really do love sleeping with the windows open, I have missed it so much.
I finally washed up and tidied up from the party and threw out some stuff I wasn't going to keep, the rest of the stuff I've either frozen, will eat up soon or will bring to the Jamboree. Now that I've thrown 1 successful party, maybe I will throw some more. But I will be smart and ask people to bring things.
I do plan on working out a bit later on today, gotta wait for it to get cooler. I have no idea what else I'm going to do this weekend. I'm thinking not much. John went up north to visit family so I am on my own. I am thinking about hanging up a few more decorative items. I know I said I wasn't going to do that until I painted but the house is really looking kind of naked. I also want to plant some flower and maybe even out my tan. I am going to try to stay away from shopping though. That will get me into trouble and is something that I really don't need to do.
Tonight I will be experimental chef and get rid of some of the leftover veggies by making a cauliflower gratin. Wish me luck.
