Happy Saturday and Felix pictures

Jul 15, 2006 09:32

Yes, the construction has started up at 9:00 on a Saturday morning again. This is going to get very, very old. Especially on the days when I've come back very late at night on a Friday from being on the road. Guess I should take that as motivation to find a new place to live sooner rather than later.

However, I do want to wait and see how the job interviews pan out. Maybe I will get a new job and make more money which would mean I could consider a more expensive place...

The phone interview with the financial institution went well. I had made sure to talk with my co-worker who used to work there to find out corporate culture-wise and values and all that to see if it would be a good match and it is. Her only problem was with the person who runs the department being analytical and she's just not that way and they had personality conflicts.

I'm up for the Facilitator position which would involve travel but up to 50% and mostly day trips instead of the 95% with almost all overnight that I'm currently doing. However, I told him I was interested in the design job as well and that one is probably going to be a desk job only doing design and I am cool with that. So basically, I should find out by next Friday what the next step is going to be. But I do feel that I will move on since I am a pretty strong candidate. They are looking for someone to be a generalist (can facilitate and do design) and that is me.

Pretty much vegged out last night. I had wanted to wait til it got cooler to go walking but then it sounded like a thunderstorm was coming up so that didn't happen. So I took some pictures of Felix the Wonder Cat instead. Since I have been told that apparently I don't post enough pictures of him.

I wish I could get some really cute pictures of the Felix kitty, like when he's sleeping on my pillow like a person. But everytime I show up with the camera, he moves. Silly kitty.

Hmmm, I notice the construction noise has stopped, just now when I've woken up and put in my contacts. Funny about that.
