Weekend update...

Well, here I am on a fine, fine Monday afternoon. What a lovely day in the neighborhood it is. Nice and grey and rainy. Perfect day for being at work, other than having to go out to get lunch or to go home at the end of the day. At least I don't have to go out and pick up my new glasses because they aren't in yet! Well, they came in but were the wrong prescription, so back they went. Anyway, I had a pretty decent weekend.

Friday
Went with the boy out to dinner (ok, splitting appetizers which turned out to be more than enough food for the both of us) and then off to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I thought they did a pretty decent job cutting down the book. And I am sooooo glad that they cut out the annoying house elf subplot.

Saturday
Had to go to auditions, they weren't that bad. We had a bunch of new people who were really good and even some adult men which was great. Not much else happened.

Sunday
Went back for Day 2 of audtions, these weren't as good since it was a lot of the returning people and they were kind of annoying. Even my annoying pirate from last year was there and she's moving to Houston (or so she says) and darn I won't miss her at all! Then we had the fun of wrangling about who would be cast where and all that fun theatre stuff.

Today was going fairly well, spent way too much time trying to figure out my expense report on the system. Stupid thing is not that user friendly. I also found out that my class for this week that got canceled last week is back on. I get to go to Asheboro tomorrow and teach a whole 2 or 3 people. Blah! I also get to try to do it in 2 days. That should prove to be interesting. Especially considering that we don't know if the printer can get my books there for the start of class on Wed. If not, I will just print them out myself. I really don't want to do this class, but I guess I need to think about the mileage money.

I'll also be staying in a hotel this time. It's just far enough of a drive that I really don't want to do it in the winter when it's dark in the morning when you head out and dark when you come home. Make the company pay for a hotel room I say. Maybe I will even have some nice dinners, well try to at least.
