Murray's Random Thoughts #12
1. I've finally given up on Heroes after two seasons so rubbish you'd think them both written during the writer's strike.
2. Saturday. New drunken house party game: instead of singing to YouTube classics, go on Chatroulette and drunkenly take requests instead. Saturday night's favourite was the group of Japanese boys that thought we were German (they didn't speak much English and everyone I was with were blonde). They spent the session yelling "Heil Hitler" at us. Charming.
3. I thought this was weird. We get daily pamphlets from different political parties and party politicians (the Chancellor yesterday), staplers with colourful brochures outside our Tube station, visits from party supporters and once the Tory candidate popped in for a cuppa. Our election is, apparently, being hotly contested between all three parties and I've never felt as harassed in my life. My house is going to vote as a pack on election day (a Thursday, how weird) and my choice is fast coming down to the one that impedes my life the least.
4. Favourite new joke -
Maggie May to the Welshman: "How do you find a sheep in the long grass?"
The Welshman: "Irresistible."
5. I'd forgotten how annoying Hugo is when he's incredibly drunk. He kept shoving me on the 19 last night. After trying everything to get him to stop (punching, spitting etc) I had to move downstairs.
