FYI: I am NOT a morning person. Talking to me in the morning is NOT going to make me a morning person either!!
With that in mind let me tell you about my dad. He gets up as I’m leaving for work today and is talking to the Spanky (the boxer) this morning, and he said “look Marie, Look!” Meaning look at the dog. AS IF he couldn’t tell I was running around the house trying not to be late to Amy’s. ERRRRRRR!!! I mean yea I was a little short with him this morning, but everyone knows not to initiate conversation with me UNTIL I TALK TO THEM FIRST! This is LAW, written by the holy scribes. I really really hate morning people. Point being? Don’t talk to me in the morning, I don’t care how awkward you think it is, it’s not, so DON’T DO IT!
I am in bad mood this morning. I really don’t know why. Well maybe I do I just don’t want to be out of my mood. Have you ever felt that way? Where you just want to be moody and to hell with everyone else. So I’m not really in a chatty mood to.
Part of my mood could be leftovers from this weekend. OMG. I’ve never look forward to my brother LEAVING in my life. We REALLY rubbed each other the wrong way this weekend. I guess because I wasn’t in a ‘lets share” mood and he didn’t like the answers I was give to his questions. The high point of his visit was arguing over double yellow lines on the road in which I said “Nobody cares about the stupid double lines!” and he replied, “You don’t care because you know I’m right!” Who argues about double lines on a road????? This was on the 4th of July.
Amy’s got me reading the Sister Hood of the traveling pants books, and that are pretty good for teen books. Not quite Harry Potter but those are just “freakin’ sweet!” 10 days people 10 DAYS!!! Soooooo excited.
So Wendi’s having a baby and I decided as present I would crochet her a blanket for the baby. First, it’s been a while since I’ve crochet, but it came right back to me once I look at the book my Grandmom got me. The real problem is interpreting the stupid directions. They seem to be written in a different language “2 dc from third loop * 1 sc starting at the 2, 3, 4 loop.” ???? It makes ABSOLUTELY no since, and I think that if it was written in FRENCH I’d have a better chance of interpreting it. It’s irritating because the stitches themselves are not that hard to do, it main just requires counting. They seem to want to make it hard to understand so that they can say “Hey this really isn’t fun.” I didn’t want to get outside help (because I wanted to be able to say hey I did it all myself) but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
