Northbound and rocking!
PCT is excellent. Have made it north to mile 110 / Warner Springs. The hot springs pool is excellent. The trail friends are better. The getting lots of mail care of "general delivery" is best! (Though some letters are missing, oh-well.)
The hike over from scissors crossing to barrel spring would've been impossible without the help of the people who so generously cache water out there. (Well, difficult without hitching into Julian, some 13 miles away, and carying gallons...)
I'm looking forward to: ADZPCTKO (the big party of hikers), the burger at Paradise Cafe, and hopefully finding fuller ridge / the mountain with snow on it just south of I 10 is actually quite passable a week after reports from some serious-hiker-types saying it wasn't. (I can always turn around, hike back to a road, and road walk around, but going over is the plan.)
