A sort of update.

I just figured that since I haven't actually written anything substantial in ages and ages I could take a few minutes out of my day (night, 2:30am, whatever) to just... write something since I know that people who don't talk to me very often read this.

Since my last update, my sister has gotten married. I've seen her for a total of probably five or ten minutes since then, and we joke about how she's going to be pregnant soon. Lee's sister is uber preggo, and her baby is due at the beginning of November. I got a raise at work, so now I'm getting paid $8.20/hr instead of $7.50/hr. That means I'm rolling in the dough, by the way. Ahem. It's actually good money for this area, which is really, really sad.

I finished Deathly Hallows, and I cried, as expected. I went to Roanoke with Mitch, April, Samantha and Jen to see SUNSHINE! and I Know Who Killed Me. IKWKM was alright. Lindsay Lohan is my favorite ever. Sunshine was... glorious. It was on a rather small screen, in a rather small auditorium, and it was on 35mm rather than in digital, but it was still on the "big"screen, and it was still just amazing like I remember. I cried harder than I did either of the first two times, and everyone who went really liked it, too. They say it sticks with them. I know what they mean. And I'm going to buy the DVD from a UK website, and then get the American version when it comes out as well. Sunshine is a huge chunk of my life now, kind of like Harry Potter. Only more grown up and more profound and thought-provoking and intelligent and... I don't know, maybe more interactive. It's a silly thought, but I kind of feel like I've been involved in Sunshine somehow, even if it's just ridiculous things like promoting the film on my website-- or getting a piece of the puzzle.

I received the Sunburn DVD that Corinne from France sent me and got to watch it. Cillian Murphy and Paloma Baeza have the greatest collaborations. Sunshine, Sunburn, and The Way We Live Now to mention three of them. What was the other thing? The Watchmen? I can't remember. Anyway, she's beautiful and I really like watching the two of them onscreen together.

Anyway, it's 2:44am, and I'm bound to be awake for another couple of hours, so I'm going to clean up this mess of a room and then maybe I'll read a little bit (I *finally* finished Skinny Legs and All). I've got Red Eye playing in the background and I'm almost certain to be distracted by it, so I'll just go and get to it. I hope everyone is doing alright.
