I am sad to see some army boys leave for Afghanistan. I've never been close friends with anyone who has served in the military--so this is all new to me. I am sure that the girls and I will come up with some pretty SWEET packages to send over. =)
Spring Break is closer and closer yet so far away! Can't wait to be in Michigan with my friends and family! I am going to hug the life out of my nephews!!!
Trying to decide what to do for Memorial Day Weekend. I had originally planned to visit my aunts in the Winston/Salem area but they won't be in the area that weekend. Bummer. So then I was thinking--well--maybe visiting the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, or heading to Wilmington or something. Who knows.
School is coming to a close soon. I can't believe I only have a little more than 2 months left of my first year of teaching! It's nuts! My kids are great--they raise some hell but what kids don't?! We are going on a field trip to a strawberry patch and a historic farm on April 24. Should be good times--I LOVE strawberries! The dreaded End Of Grade test is May 12-15--pray for me and my students at this time---we will need all the help we can get!
I have been invited to passion parties, pampered chef parties, candlelight parties, and now a scents (electric air fresheners) party. I am running out of money! Hope my taxes come back soon...I've been waiting.
