Alright I will now take this moment to do some more complaining about the Lipscomb dorm here at UGA...
So bathroom stall number 2...or maybe it's 3.. is ALWAYS out of toilet paper. Always. And it's ALWAYS the stall I use. Always. Basically I've gone through this routine about 6 times so far:
Do my business, reach for the toilet paper, feel the empty toilet paper roll, curse out loud, sit there for a little bit and make sure nobody is outside, pull my pants up halfway, open the door and run to the stall next door where I can properly finish my bathroom needs.
Awesome.
And about those community showers. Shower number 1 has such strong water pressure that it hurts to take a shower because it feels like your skin is being blown off...not a good sign. Shower number...4 maybe, doesn't have a drain grate thing, it's just a big hole in the ground, leading to the deep shower abyss. Stall number 2 doesn't have a knob thing to turn the water on...and the broken piece sits on the little bench in the shower stall, always. And everytime you are taking a shower and someone flushes a toilet, the water pressure decreases to a dribble and the water gets real hot for a second. It's great. You may be asking yourself, why doesn't someone refill the toilet paper in stall number 3? Or fix the knob in shower number 2? I don't know, nobody does. And oddly enough, they have male custodians for our girls bathroom on an all girls floor. That is weird.
Anywho, the first football game of the season is this weekend and I couldn't be more excited, even if my seat is shitty. I'll just have to find a way to get in to the better seats. I also went to the UGA Swim Club tonight and it seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. Everyone is real laid back and we are doing a lot of social "get to know your team" gatherings. We also get to travel to some meets in Myrtle Beach, Tulane and possible Tennessee.
