(no subject)
I worked at home today. I felt sick this morning and had diarrhea, so I decided to work at home..and then at around 10:00 the BH started up really bad..I was organizing toys and stuff in Quinn's room and I knew I should stop but I kept wanting to do "one last thing" and by noon they were really bad. Plus, the diarrhea was not letting up..So I finalllly laid down on the couch at 12:30..And the contractions died down. At 2:00 I got up to make some food and fold laundry, and within 5 minutes they got bad again! AND the diarrhea started again. UGH.
So I laid back down and called the doctor office..I knew what they were going to say, but I just wanted to make sure I was doing what I was supposed to do. They said to just keep resting and drinking water, and if the BH don't stop when I'm resting to call them back. So far the resting helped for the rest of the day..But geez. I feel like I can't do anything! I wasn't even really doing anything this morning, just sorting legos and stuff into different boxes. Seriously, getting up off the couch to make toast made my uterus go crazy again! WTF..
I don't know. I was chatting with my friend (and former boss) Hilary and she said I should have the doctor take me off work. I don't know. I'll see how things go the next few weeks, but if this keeps happening I might do that. But that will be odd because I'll still send Quinn to daycare, so I'll just be sitting here all alone all day! Oh, and it was so hard to sit here and do nothing! I hadn't finished organizing stuff so there were toys and crap all over the floor, and it was sooo hard to just sit here and look at it! hahaha..It's all still there. I know when Quinn gets home he'll just start throwing it all over the place and I'll go crazy looking at the mess in here! haha..I swear, I am not a neat freak. Ask any of my old roommates :) But the nesting hormones must be kicking in because I cannot stand all of this clutter! haha.
Anyway, yesterday was a nice day. Erin and the twins came over. Her husband is gone for two weeks on business and she is going out of her mind. It helps to just get out of the house and have someone else entertain her kids. So they came over for breakfast. Oh, we were chatting on FB by 7:00 am because we both had been up for two hours! haha..So they came over and it was a rainy day so we built a fire and just let the kids throw all the toys all over the floor and go crazy. It was fun.
I forget what else I was going to talk about. That's it for now!
