Doctor's visit was great!!! So much to write, but everything looks perfect and amazing (doctor's words). I really like this doctor. We talked for like an hour about all of the testing, and what happened with Quinn and she reassured that she is going to keep a close eye on me throughout the pregnancy and will take good care of me. It's so weird, because with Quinn I guess the way the doctor presented the screening, we thought it was something we HAD to do. We didn't know we had a choice not to do it..Ugh..And I don't know if you remember, but we were one of the people with the false positive. We had a 1 < 5 chance that the baby had Trisomy 13 or 18. It was terrible. They couldn't do the CVS test so we had to wait a month for the amnio and we were completely freaking out. So after going through that, now I know that no matter what happens we would keep the baby, so we are not sure what we want to do. Part of me would just want to know either way, and if we don't do the testing, am I going to worry that there is something wrong and we just don't know? hmm..

This doctor was so great. She said it's totally up to us, and we can do all or just part of the testing if we want, or none at all. We talked about what we went through and she just said we can talk about it and let her know what we decide..So that's where we are. We had no idea it was optional..Although, when you think about it, why would it be required?

Yeah, it makes sense that you had the high resolution u/s. She said if we wanted we could just do that part.

I don't know about a boy or a girl! Everyone is saying it's a girl, and Quinn keeps saying "Where is my sister!??" it's so weird! I don't know where he even heard the word sister, but he seems to think he has one somewhere :)

I am so excited to find out!!
