Two days until nothing...
So here it is a couple of hours before we make our way to New York for another jam-packed-wish-there-was-more-time-and-less-to-do weekend.
To highlight what will be happening (or hope to happen) this weekend:
We will be taking flight in about 4 hours toward Chicago at which point we will be waiting to catch another flight from there to LGA.
We will be landing at LaGuardia at 11:30 tonight at which point we will sleep. Maybe hit a bar if we are up to it, but i am already tired and its only 2 o'clock. So after sleeping (and putting some laundry in the machine) we will make the what should be only a twenty minute drive (but will end up an hour) to Beth's house which will be home base for the weekend.
We will then be taking a cab to the famous "Kayspan Park" to walk around the lot and make sure we can get into the show. We should be ok, but you never know with these insider jobs.
Rest assured, I have been told that "Everything has been taken care of" a quote from my cousin which was told to him from his "CONNECTION" (no pun intended for all you phish heads).
So assuming everything has worked out perfectly (which I know it will), we will hang around the lot and meet up with our fellow PT'ers and friends for a fun filled night of swimming in the sea! What will happen after the show is still up in the air... but who cares! we are in NY and there is tons to do!
Friday night we shall again make our way to the concert area and enjoy another fun filled night of the swimming frenzy. Afterwards we will sleep...
Saturday morning bright and early mom will come and get Mike and I and we will bid adieu to our friends Beth (only for a short while) and Phish (for a long indefinite time) and go out to lunch with Stephie and Mom and Dad and whoever else is willing to join.
Fun times...
Anyway, Saturday afternoon we will catch our faithful flight back to illinois and rest for work the next day!
I will let you know how perfect and pristine this plan works out... see ya on Monday!
