the ultimate breakup song, in my opinion-and greg mottola (superbad, paul) as well because he used it in the relevant scene in adventureland. you may know it better as 'the movie jesse eisenberg was in before the social network made him super famous' or 'the movie kristen stewart made it through without exhibiting a single recognizable human emotion' or even 'the movie that should have ended with the replacement's 'unsatisfied' playing in the background before the actual last scene'.

okay, i'm not super proud of this-maybe i should add this to my imaginary blog, 'things i do that mark driscoll disapproves of'-but i listened to this song a lot the last time i was dumped. super petulant, i know. in my defense, there are a few good turns of phrase in this one. and a few howlers.
also, is this a song for women? when the crowd sings the bridge and imogen heap is vamping, it's clear that it's basically just women singing. are men and women supposed to experience breakups differently? i always felt like this song described the experience pretty universally. am i doing it wrong?
