i talked to my dad and he said he doesn't ever want to get married personally, and it sucks that it lost, but we all know it's coming and it's going to change and that now just must not be the right time for it. he said he is happy to have a president who is eloquent, educated and a great speaker. he was very optimistic. i mentioned the people yelling in the streets here, and he said in modesto, that did not happen. quelle surprise there!

we did rant about mormons and religious nuts. i feel a little better about it after talking to him.

i am drinking wine at my desk. we had a party at work to celebrate obama's nomination :D
