What a fun day. It's so like Dean to decide to give his friend a birthday. Dean likes to give to the people he loves. It's an essential part of his character.

Seriously, this is ridiculously adorable. And I kind of love Sam and Dean's birthdays, because even if they sucked a bit and were full of accidents there was still something, and that is honestly more than I've ever really thought they've had for birthdays, ever. Also poor Cas/Conner trying to explain why he doesn't have a birthday, I found that ridiculously funny for some reason XD

I'd like to think that the boys had at least tried to have decent birthdays, kind of like how they tried to have Christmas despite crappy circumstances. *hugs bbs*

Sam gets attacked by clowns and Dean gets attacked by a demented pepper pot (I've seen them called that before - in an official novel no less). Cas is getting better at the whole playing thing - I suspect Gabe would be proud of that sheep trick if he saw it (especially if he knows just who "Conner" is). And Cas being supportive when he figures out Dean's problem ^_^.

And yeah, I've heard that they've been called demented pepper pots as well, but I didn't know it was in official novel! That makes it more epic! :D

Gabe would definitely approve of his antics! It shows that they're related after all XD

Even at such an early age, Cas is already starting to look out for Dean. He's rescuing him from his little problems :3

The "Pepperpot" comment was in one of the "New Adventures" novels - the ones published by Virgin during the years between Old Who and the 8th Doc telemovie (which it was not long after that BBC publishing took back the rights for the novels). Specifically, it was in a poem in the back of the novel about the wedding of Bernice Summerfield.
