Today is my friend Karl's graduation party, and I can't help but feel a little jaded by my plight in Japan. It was supposed to be a lot more fun than it was. There's nothing like a month long sickness to wreck every plan I had. If I had not gotten sick I would have graduated yesterday, and I would have a diploma in my hand today, it's very upsetting.
