Um, so, you've run out of things to read (including cereal boxes and toilet paper packages?) Still want more? Well, if you're sure, here's a few more stories of mine. They're all of varying quality, from polished to not-so-polished to absolutely spur-of-the-moment fics.
The ones that are locked are locked for a very good reason. But if you're really sure ...

The "Official" Stuff
FFNET -- mostly posted in a period between 2003-2007
Free Floating Entities
Untitled Drabble 1** (2004, five minute sprint, not edited -- Quick Summary: Hikaru follows the fan)** Freewriting exercise -- stream of consciousness style. I had TOTALLY forgotten about it ... for a good reason. Not really good, but eh. First Journal fic EVEr.
The Art of Losing (2004, semi-edited, Quick Summary: Sai on the idea of losing)**
Waiting (2005, quick drabble, unedited, Quick Summary: Touya Kouyo, Jealousy)
Listening** (2005, quick drabble, summary: pain is quick teacher)
Proof and Pudding** (2005, semi-edited, summary: Yashiro, Touya, Shindo, Pudding. I'm still not happy with this one.)
Avocation(2005, semi-edited, quick summary: Shindo used to just hear one voice. Now he hears a lot more than that ...)
Teaching Touya (2005. My first yaoi. NO REALLY. utter, utter crackfic.)
Educating Shindou (2007, uh, the reverse B-side to the above story. XD. Actually, between Teaching Touya and Educating Shindou, you can see I've gotten a smidge better. But not by much, or by a long shot "good." Even more Slash.)
Left Over(2005, semi-edited, Oochi on a bus with Touya and Shindou. It's not a pleasant place to be. Again, I'm still really not pleased with this one.)
Shine **(2006, semi-edited, still need to change the name of this, and I'm really not happy with this one either. It's a rather bitter fic, and don't read it if you want happy endings, but it is my first serious attempt at trying to work out the Shindou/Touya dynamic.)
Bruce (2007, edited crack fic, "Contrary to popular belief," said Touya Akira, "my mother does not dress me.")
Porkchops and Pancakes (2007, edited fic, "Ah.So eternal rivals eat real food too.")
Puddle Jumping (2007, permutations exercise. Quick Summary: Hikaru, Akira, and the importance of being Hikaru. And, of course, rain.)

Better Days (2006, Blind Go Fic, edited, unfinished, but am working on it! Currently ... 7 parts. It's very long.)
Square One (2008, Blind Go Fic ... reposted- edited -- FINISHED! Quick Summary: Things go wrong. Then they go right. Warnings: Mild Slash).
Resignation (2008, Blind Go Fic, Akira and Hikaru don't need to change their natures, just the games they play.)
Exchanging Territories (2008, Originally a comment drabble in
issen4's journal, but turned into an edited fic. Kaga and Touya meet. Oh noes! Someone save Akira from the Elvis!)

Kitsune Weather (2004, sequel to ITFOTN. Hikaru isn't the only one who's gifted. Akira knows what it means to touch greatness --and that which is beyond -- as well) Still unfinished, but yeah, I've been working on it on and off for four years. XD I've only unlocked the first part; the rest are under beta. It's really nearly done, but it shows you how long I can poke at a story. I don't ever give up though. This one probably won't get finished within the next year; it's really low on the priority level, but yes, I still go back and add paragraphs. It's more here for curiosity's sake. I really shouldn't write sequels. XD

James Joyce Challenge (2004, thirty minute sprint, not edited -- Keywords, James Joyce)** <-- So? Yes, I write boring ass crap on an alarming basis. Basically, most of my locked stuff or exercises look like that and don't really amount to much. The actual answer to this challenge is in an word document somewhere. XD. But yeah ... there's a reason I keep fics under lock.
Death Note/Hikaru no Go comparison that eventually led me to write "Driven." And actually, that odd Hikaru no Go/Petshop of Horror Crossover ... heh (2004) and it's

I'm Sorry, but Our Princess is in Another Castle! (2009, comment-fic, not betaed. This provides solid evidence that Imbrium is EVIL.)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Also, there's this ... dubious collection. XD
I accidentally released this batch of fic (which was written solely for my awesome friend and loyal beta, Imbrium) for her birthday in November 2007.
She's nice enough to share though! Anyways, in this batch, you'll find fics (non-betaed, cause that'd be mean to make her beta her own gift!) from: Hikaru no Go, Hikaru no Go and Naruto, Final Fantasy XII, and Escaflowne.
Happy Birthday Imbrium! <--- the best beta ever. The stories here would not exist without her help.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, some people have been crazy enough to want to write with me. Though yeah, I'll admit ... sometimes, it's involuntary, and usually occurs when I trick them into a round robin. XD
(One of my favorite cowritten pieces is with
Tarigwaemir who probably didn't know I was about to urp all over her piece when she wrote her original one. Sadly, I don't have a copy to place here since well ... um ... she locked her journal. XD But yeah.)
I'm always up for a cowrite, and usually like to do it over chat. If you see me, flag me down. You never know what will happen! XD
Other cowritings have gone more peaceably. Aishuu seems to be the most glutton for punishment. I've written three pieces with her.
Having a Lousy Time, Wish You Were Dead (2006, Edited Crossover Cowritten with
aishuu, George from Dead Like Me plus Light from Death Note equals a very strange combination. No, I don't know either.)
An Offering of Names (2008, edited fic cowritten with
aishuu, Haku learns the value of names and the reasons that a even a river must have its limits.)
Natural Selection (2010, edited fic cowritten with
aishuu, Even for gods, there is nothing as constant as change.)
Hehe. I actually really like writing with a partner and will pretty much write with anyone if I can find the time. XD I think I've been really lucky in some ways that most people I have written with have been really gracious about trying to adapt to my weird turns of thoughts and phrases. XD
------
Fandom is one of the most talented places I've ever been a part of. And it's not just in the writing ... it's in how there is so much creation, from podfics to fanart ... and music ... there's so much people do out of love of the creative mediums they are inspired by.
I've been really lucky too, in that some people share their talent with me and make stuff based on my stuff. *blush*
Podfic
Podficcing is an art onto itself. For anyone who thinks it's easy, try recording your own voice reading a story. Making a story come alive through the spoken word is an art form ... you have to make decisions such as what words to emphasize. What words to say softly. What words to yell LOUD! Listening to someone read my fics is something that makes me shiver, sometimes -- there's just something really neat to hearing the audio version of your words; it adds an extra dimension somehow. (Though yeah, it also makes me wince at some of the grammar errors I've made ... those come out really clearly! XD)
I've been really lucky that I've had several people podfic some of my work and ALL of them have been excellent.
If you love Hikago podfic, you should definitely check out
ihikago Great. Googly. Moogly. It is awesome.
I've had two of my fics podficced through Ihikago.
The ever awesome
sarasusa podficced
Porkchops and Pancakes In addition to her talents as a storyteller of the spoken word, she's a really awesome editor too.
Daisy_chan podficced Better Days Part 7:The Substitute Note XD. She's an awesome mod, and awesome writer and quite insistent that I finish that story some day.
Even more amazing to me is that
rhea314 made a podfic of my crazily long story, Square One. I mean, that one is 25,000 PLUS words. GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY. 0_o. She still does a great job throughout on every word. There's also a podbook version here:
Much thanks and cookies to Rhea and cybel *is still awed.*
Fanart
I've also been really lucky that several very talented people have been taken something I've written and added a whole new visual dimension to it as well. I never really know what to say because I am quite overawed whenever someone gives me fanart of my work. Wow. I wish I could draw. But ... wow.
For example,
corbeaun drew me this absolutely perfect picture of Hikaru and Akira from Square One. I love the serenity in the scene, how Hikaru and Akira are just ... together ... under the wisteria. It's a mood that I tried so hard to create with so many words and she gets it in a single picture. WOW.
The extraordinarily talented
dumbimps has also been incredibly kind to me and has drawn me several pieces over the years. It always takes my breath away to see how she has taken something I scribbled out and really given it movement and color and everything. I don't think I can ever thank her enough. Take a look through her livejournal for some really well executed original and fanart. I think what I love most about her style is that it's very expressive, from the stances she chooses for the characters, to their expressions, to their clothing (what a designer!) My favorite is her ninja pictures... there's just so much motion in them that it's hard to believe it's a still picture. So yeah. Um *Blush* I'm incredibly honored.
Dumbimps is awesome and illustrated several of my work, including Here's Dumbimp's completely awesome drawing of a scene from Better Days Even her sketches are quite cool and so dynamic. ^_____^. I love to see how she saw those Better Day scenes. Not to mention her illustrations of the Hikaruto Verse makes me want to write ninja igo players forever. FOREVER. I mean, look at Dumbimp's Akira. And her Hikaru. And the clear dynamic ACTION in those shots! *Dies* I'm so grateful she drew me these pictures. The worst thing is that I've lost several pieces of fanart from other people. My old computer died on me so I can't find them. I just know every last piece was awesome. If you have a link, please send it to me so I can thank you properly and put it here; your work should be shared!
