I'm really glad you were able to turn things around though now is rough. I really hope it improves. ME/CFS must suck because the only time I didn't have the strength to eat chocolate was when I had covid. If ME/CFS is like covid, oh man do you ever have my sympathies!

Your sweet heart shines through your entry, as you tell us how you learned to appreciate the sunrises.

I wish you all the best with your writing and your health!

I'm so sorry you had to go through covid. There was a lot of talk in the ME/CFS community about the similarities between ME/CFS and long covid.

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment. You have touched my heart with your sweetness! Thank you! <3

I so so so enjoyed this, M! Not the difficult bits, but the joyous bits and you really write joy well! I love your musing about the sun, and the moon, and the sunrises and sunsets and even - wow - beating up the sun! This was such a personal response to the prompt and it really shows the sensitive and deep-feeling side of YOU! Hope you begin to feel better soon! *HUGS*

Me too! There is hope in every day! *Hugs*

Thank you for your loving response to my offering this week. It almost wrote itself, but then, I've been living it for a long time.

Now, I'm going to be doing some reading myself. <3 <3

I found this very moving, humorous at the same time,it takes the reader through emotions.I am a night owl too and love to snuggle down for another hour in the mornings, but it 's not good really.Anyway, glad you turned it around and I wish you all the best regarding your health ,take care and stay safe x

There is a saying... When tired sleep, when hungry eat. I go by those rules. I worked second shift for a long time so mo try binge aren't my thing but I like to sleep in until 10 if I can. And I think sunrises and the beginningz.of.a.New day are.awesome also! Thanks for thisview.of you! Peace~~~D

The multiple "snooze"s until you finally get out of bed really got me! I used to be the same way; I would deliberately set my alarm for an hour-and-a-half before I absolutely had to wake up because I just knew I would hit the snooze button five or six times. When I started living with my now-husband, he was not a fan of that habit, so I eventually learned to just set my alarm for a reasonable time and wake up with it.

I also used to be a night owl, or so I thought, but once I started getting up early in the mornings and having my quiet alone time then, life felt a lot less hectic for me!

I wasn't as smart as you! I didn't set my alarm ahead, I just hit the snooze button until options like showering, eating, getting the bus instead of a cab, were no longer an option. I just realized, if I'd been able to drive myself I could have hit the snooze button a few more times, or gone where I had to go in my pj's. (Hangs head in shame) I was SO bad!

Yes, getting up is so much better for us.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, S. Always great to hear from you. :-)

lol! Yes, I had a few experiences like that, which is why my "solution" was to just set the alarm back a few hours and mess up my sleep even more! I'm not necessarily the quickest thinker sometimes...
