Hell, I'd have to learn from it first. My initial reaction, of course, is something from Henry VIII's Field of the Cloth of Gold, but that's probably the most elaborate thing done ever pre-1700. Recreating it might be a bit of a stretch.

I think I'm going to make this a Standing Challenge from me. Meaning - at any time, at any event - if someone wants to *show-n-tell* to recreate the pages of a manuscript - I would (not reward) but maybe *gift* the creators. Something nifty?? Like a pouch?? Maybe buttons?? hmmmm . . ..
