The world: suddenly a bigger, blacker, sharper place
My new reading glasses came in today, so I picked them up this afternoon. I'm now marvelling at how much blacker and sharper close up text looks. I'd got kind of used to it being a sort of smudged dark grey.
Er, yes, I did put off going to get my eyes tested again for way too long, but this magic text transformation deal is miracle enough that it almost makes up for the fact that I'm going to (probably) spend the rest of my life swapping over pairs of glasses, as I do the reading/distance shuffle.
Only "almost", though.
My prescription Ray Bans still aren't ready however. Sulk, sulk, sulk.
