(no subject)
so i havent updated in like 9,000 years.....so im just gonna jot down some quickies
my birthday was pretty sweet, melissa got me my old drumset back, and she also got me march of the penguins!!!! ^.^ i love her so much! now i just have to go and get the rest of the hardware for it. she also got me "America: The Book" by Jon Stewert, and it's hilarious. My parents just got me a bunch of gift cards, which is sweet also
Also got another raise, i am making $8.00 now, and i have finished ALL of my Christmas shopping, I am just waiting for one thing in the mail, and I am getting worried... but im sure it will come

Sue, the girl who does the salad bar in the evening when im not doing it, pulled a hamstring, so i have been subjected to this entire week to work. except sat and sun
i am STILL getting all a's and b's, so thats pretty KICK ASS

Is it the Holiday Tree, or the Christmas tree?
In class one day, I said Merry Christmas to a kid and the teacher got mad at me and said i need to say happy holidays because you dont know who you will offend. on a different day, the same teacher, a different kid said happy hanakuh to another kid, and apprently it was ok
I completly respect other religions. if someone said happy hanakuh to me, i would say happy hanakuh to you too!! just because I celebrate one holiday doesn't mean I hate the others, but since MOST people celebrate christmas, and more importantly, since I celebrate Christmas, im gonna say "Merry Christmas"!!
People are always saying we need to be politically correct. It's true that we need to respect the minority, but does that mean the majority has to get bashed around because of tradition? ("you christians think christmas is the ONLY holiday, and your ignorant blah blah blah!!!")
I'm not saying "down with kwanzaa" but its been merry christmas forever, and im sure all jews didnt just come over this year...
