Good For Mike

I think the recording went very well, Mike and I have been trying to do this project for a long time, and yesterday we came together and layed it out. With 7 tracks and almost 40 mins of music, that is improvised to an extent. I think that it sounds great. There was some structure to a few of the pieces. But there is nothing more raw and "true" to the music then just stick some musicians in a room, hit record, and see what happends. There is some really catchy bass lines, some really sweet drum grooves, and it really sits up there with the Good For Cows (California Drum and Bass Duo). The styles are incredible. There is lots of Classical, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Soulful grooves, styles in this CD. Its very Avant Garde. Im really proud of the music that Mike and I created. We have a few more tracks to go, and some final mixing, and bingo. Just wanted to give some feedback! peace.
