Flatscreens...
Hmmm I think it's time to upgrade my monitor a little. I have a big screen but it's pretty old, and it's not the best quality. When I look at dark stuff on the screen I often cant see subtle differences in colors after a while, which really sucks.
My question is though... I want a flat screen! But when I used them in the past, I found that the colors they actually show are often weird and not really right, almost metallic looking. Like a teal blue looks really awesome and pretty, whereas on a normal screen its just a teal blue color. Maybe they're better now. I dunno!
Anyways, I want something that looks perfect and shows colors really well and can be calibrated to look spot on, as all my product shots etc have to look right on my screen. Then I can use the "Well my monitor is calibrated, so obviously your screen is too bright, and thats why your hairpiece doesnt match, I didnt send you a different tone" reasoning.
I am thinking maybe a 22" screen, I dont wanna spend too much - But Im not stingy either. Whats a good brand for flatscreen monitors? The ones on Dell look cheap but I dont want something thats a total dud. I want shiny good pictureness, but maybe nothing more than about $550.
One of you has to know something about this stuff ^_^
