Okay, so everyone has to post news of a celebrity death as if the only information available on the internet is actually LJ... :P It's sad, sure, but why do 35 different people all have to make a post about it? I think everyone has a TV and access to news sites... if they dont, they probably dont know who he is anyway.
On a side note, he wasn't some world changing activist or a great actor. He mumbled his way through Brokeback Mountain and pretty much looked cranky all the time. *shrug* It's sad sure but OMG! When Britney carks it later this year we're in for a LiveJournal meltdown.
Only one person I know posted anything about the death of Benazir Bhutto, and that was actually a big important world changing thing... people's obsession with celebrities is pretty sad.
