Yes, I am. No, I´m not trying to make myself feel better, due to the fact that I already feel good. Then why do I state that I am a great person? Well, because I am, and I am proud to be. Now, before you think I have become an egophile, let me explain.
The realisation came when I was reading a book, called ¨Watermelon¨. It´s a funny book, go read it. Anyway, it has some passages about how good it is to have friends around you and what not. And I thought by myself, yes, it is great to have friends around. Then I figured that, since I like having my friends around, and they keep coming around (ok, not all the way over here, small detail), that must mean that they enjoy being around ME. That, or they are some socialsadomasochists who enjoy being around people they dislike, which still means they put a lot of effort and energy in me.
This realisation, the awareness, the feeling, is where I am going at. Apearantly, I am SO great that I can make people simply feel good BY MY PRESSENCE. How cool is that? I have great friends. Great friends only have friends who are also great. Therefore, I am great myself. It´s a simple conclusion, but hey, it works for me.
What´s also reassuring is the fact that whenever I´m over to my previous hotel and I get such a warm welcome, like I´ve been gone forever. (which will no doubtly be surpassed a 100 times by the joy there will be when I get back, LOL). My former chief sayed that it doesn´t matter how many times, whenever I am able to come, I could come, for a drink or whatever. That, and I can still do the shows, which is awesome in itself.
In march I will be moving to England. I´m gonna be the au pair of a 6 year old kid. How I got the job? Well. The family was staying in my previous hotel while I worked there and I had a lot of contact with them and while talking with them, the subject just arised. Hmz. A family asks ME to take care of their kid after 1 week of contact. Another example of my awesomeness, lol.
Well, it all comes down to this: I am awesome, I have awesome friends and with you, I have an awesome life.
