About babies, music and parties.
Babies! What's up with them? Everybody's getting them. People in my msn, people in my family. And like, well. Get that feeling of "Geez, everybody's moving and I'm standing still". Babies are neat! Though I don't want one now. First things first. Like. uhm. Girlfriend XD. I went to visit a nephew of mine who became a father 10 days ago last saturday. Cute babydude called Julian. Yup.
Saturdayevening I went to a birthdaybash. Was fun! I was the youngest though. Saw some familiar faces and a whole lot of new ones. I think I made a good impression. And I, well. I don't know why, but somehow, some way, things always seem to work out for me. Example:
I was supposed to spend the night in Utrecht saturday. So one thinks, I should by a weekend-return ticket. Except the ticketoffice was closed on my station. And I didn't think I had enough money on my account for a weekend-return. So I tried buying a one-way ticket with my bankcard from the machine and EXCELSIOR! I got me a ticket. And I figured that I should buy another one-way ticket sunday. For the record, that's more expensive than 1 returnticket. Anyway. As the party came to it's end, two things became clear.
1: 2 guys were going back to Rotterdam by car.
2: The hostess of the party started stressing about next morning and how she REALLY couldn't have me there.
So I got a ride home and that saved me some money and a traintrip back home. Funny how that works. And yes, I have more examples.....I just can't remember them >_<
I'm getting my hair done tomorrow. I'm going to a place where you can get a discount with my fitnesscard. I hope they're good.
In other news, I'm going to a party next thursday. It's a student's party but people who don't study can also come. For the price of 3,50? I'll be there! Also, it's a 90's party. Here's the outfit I'm gonna wear.
My Scarface blouse. It's white with the well known Scarface silhouette on it. Also, the buttons are metal and pistol shaped.
My blue/grey jeans. A bit tight but my bum looks nice in it.
My grey Pony shoes to match the jeans. Just because they look nice.
Also. I love music. It maybe a pretty random thing to say, but I've gotten it confirmed again when I started playing Guitar Hero 2 today. Some songs I just can't get enough from. Some of my favourites, which you should totally check.
Crazy on you, by Heart, Redicoulisly awesome song. It's acoustic, it's powerfull, it's feminine, it's like a hot summer night.
Psychobillie Freakout, by Reverend Horton Heat. Fast, danceable, and a weird feeling. Like Rivella.
Rock this town, by the Straycats. Woooooo! Rock 'n roll at it's finest. So much fun to play and dance to and listen to. Also the reason I'm gonna get a totally rock 'n roll hairdo.
Heartshaped Box, by Nirvana. One of my favourite Nirvana songs. Everybody gets so worked up about Smells Like Teen Spirit, but I don't get what's so special about it. At least in this song, you can hear the words.

Before I forget. The 1st of may is my bday. But don't come then. Because the 5th of may I'm going out. Aside from all the festivals in the Netherlands, in the night, I'm gonna go dancing in Waterfront. The party is called Supersnaar and it's got danceable rockmusic. Wanna know more? Other suggestions? Lemme know!
