Don't tell me this life is only a moment in eternity.
Because I want this moment to last forever.
And I want to understand why each moment without her seems so long.
Is it the mind, or the body? Or is it my heart itself, my spirit that creates the feeling of longing, of time passing sluggishly?
But the wonderful part is simply knowing she's alive. In that, I can always find joy. Joy, that heavenly feeling, is only a step away. We must first seek it, and we can always find a reason for a sincere smile to grace our face.
Life is wonderful, no matter how hard it gets. How can we ignore that simple fact? Cherish life. Smile. Share.
If you do so with sincerity, you will surely find more meaning in life, even if it's in very simple things. From simple and sweet things come the most important truths- not a long, philosophically-based discussion. We can understand our hearts, but to find them through loving others is more important.
It's not that we shouldn't seek the truth and meaning behind things. It's just that sometimes that's not the most important part of our day to day lives. After all, some things cannot simply be spoken, or idealized. Some things can only be understood through action. And truly, love is a verb.
So stand up. Take a breathe of fresh air. Tell the people you love that you love them. Find something to be happy about. Share the joy.
The key to happiness doesn't lie in some deep cavern, above the clouds, in a chemical composition or any other external thing. It lies within each of us. The power to brighten another's day. And we see, that to achieve happiness, we must all share it with each other. As we cause good things to happen, no matter how large or small, we bring each other closer together, and higher up.
Even diamonds start as coal, but every good step toward that brilliant, shining, perfect future is something we can be happy about.
