My name is Devon, and I am a senior at a university somewhere near the center of the continental United States. I am majoring in Communications, with a minor in Business, and I am learning Chinese to supplement my education. I am a member of a sorority on my campus, and spent the year 2011 serving as Vice President of Public Relations for my chapter. Since I have completed my term, I'm now building the groundwork for a student alliance for students with learning disabilities, which I hope will become a multi-campus organization in the future.
When I'm not dragging myself around the academic world, I'm either modeling or working on my cosplaying. I've recently become interested in nutrition and exercise, as well, and I'm consistently setting new goals for myself to improve my health and fitness. I also have an interest in makeup artistry, and Chinese, Japanese, and Korean fashion.
I work two jobs right now- One as a marketing designer for my campus activities office, and one as a localizing editor for Digital Manga Publishers, Inc. Two hours a week, I volunteer at the local cat rescue, doing general chores and helping to socialize the cats who are waiting for their forever homes.
In the online world, I spend most of my time roleplaying on Livejournal communities, as well as writing fanfiction.
