today was ehhh. 5th hour was the last day of teens on target for this semester. we had pizza. it was yummy. and we watched POTC. i was oh so happy in pants-ss. merrrrrr.

alright, i was seeing what aaron's away message was when i noticed a link that he had in his profile thinger that said sXe. it caught my attention so i decided to take a peek at it. it really changed some of my views on straight edge. you should check it out. it doesn't matter if you are straight edge or not. just take a look at it and tell me what you think. it was interesting. i agree with everything in there that it talks about. like...people now say they're straight edge to be cool, but it's not about being cool. it's about being true to yourself and your body. i mean come on. most teenagers smoke pot, smoke cigarettes, or drink and a great amount have sex. why waste your life away being "cool" and messing up your body. when you can be cool and not destroy yourself. yes, i smoke cigarettes. i started smoking because i thought it was cool and i was wrong. it turned out to be a horrible addiction that was the cause of my great grandpa's death and will eventually kill off many of my other family members and/or me. most of you reading this had someone in their family fuck up their life terribly. why follow in their footsteps? do you want to be one of those people in the pictures on the front page that says: Drunk driver kills family? Do you want to be behind bars for a drug bust? Do you want to suffer from STDs and make others suffer by spreading it to them? I don't think so...but if that's your thing. fucking go for it. i'm not trying to pressure people to be straight edge because i'm not even straight edge. i just want to get the word out. i mean everything i say and it takes alot to be true to yourself. i know many people that aren't. i totally respect straight edge kids to the fullest. my own sister veronica is straight edge and i'm very proud of her. she's true to herself and her body. it makes me smile. my mom, my dad, cori, and i smoke. veronica and jonny don't and i respect the fact that they don't. because they're smart. harming your body is fucking stupid.
i've got a lot more to say about it, but i'm just going to stop right here. maybe this entry made you think a little and i hope it did. :)
