This last past week was probably the only week since I was in Florida that actually felt like SUMMER. Too bad it was like the last week of it.
Lets re-cap the events because they are all so glorious.
The party at the Delt house was a buzzkill. Too
many rules + gayness = uncoolness. I think I was just
expecting way too much since I know that house is capable of
throwing some majorly rad parties. Their Probation
needs to END NOW!
Tuesday the 16th was like the most perfect summer evening. JAK
and I drove around every single road of our "youth".
Enjoyed Iced Cappucinos from T-Ho's and then ended our journey at
Meijer to pick up the New 311 CD.
The new CD by the way is amazing. I am not just saying this
because I am obsessed with this band either. It truly
is. Frankly, to be honest, I wasnt expecting such greatness and
was thinking it would just be another medicore release. But to my
astonishment I was blown away. This album reinvents the feeling
of why I love them so much. It has a new feel mixed in with old
sounds. Needless to say, I am addicted to
it.
More on 311,
the next day I got to see them live in concert for like the 12th
time. It always gets better. I started off wasted with my
sister and J. We watched Papa Roach which I think was a buzzkill
for sure. But 311 played for an hour and half and mixed it up real good. If only nick would come and take me away.......
Saturday was Woodward.
I made the mistake of wearing what I thought would be comfortable
shoes. WOW was I wrong. I now have a million blisters on
the backs of heels after walking in pain for miles on Woodward
ave. I still had an enjoyable time.
Although I was told I need a "fucking badate " to use the
restroom since I refused to use an outhouse. Aside from all
of this, I need a million dollars. I decided I want a Z06
Corvette or a Mercedes CLS 500. or an STS V or Infiniti
G35. or a SAAB 93 or hell I'd even settle for a G6 GTP.
This Week is Welcome Week here at MSU. There best be some
parties and good ones at that. WAK and Tori are moving in
and I love it! I am so excited for this year to begin (that is until October...)
