Oh, don't be silly. Why would I want to rub shoulders with the titled set? Have I forgotten already what it was like in Silvermoon three years ago? But Knight-Lord Bloodhawk did indicate things have changed. Now that the Shattered Sun Offensive has Quel'Danas well in hand and with Prince Kael'thas soundly defeated, I am sure it must have impacted Silvermoon in several ways.
But Silvermoon is no longer my home.
Will Booty Bay endure as such? Or at least until we have children?
I shouldn't get ahead of myself. I mean, there are still a few weeks before the wedding and who knows what could happen within that time? Maybe ... maybe he will get cold feet. But that's impossible, isn't it? The way he looks at me with such love in his eyes. I swear that I could positively melt under that gaze. He's been so honest and sincere since we began to court. I have a feeling that my father would find favor with him. Oh, Father. If only the Scourge had not come. You would still be here. Tel would be able to ask you for my hand. We could be married properly, on our estate in Suncrown Village with you and mother looking over us with approval.
Would you approve, Father? Isn't is easy to see how much I adore him?
How I long to be Missus Mariveaux Sarethi. And I will be in two weeks.
Or should it be Missus Telarin Sarethi? I know Mother would be able to tell me the proper way to address a married woman. Is it too late for me to refine and polish my etiquette and manners at this late date? Who could I turn to in order to receive such an education on such short notice.
Oh, I know! I must write a letter to Lady Kirien. Surely she would help! She wouldn't want me to make a fool of myself on my wedding day!
Things to Do:
1. Write a letter to Lady Kirien Alanwys Sunfire, begging for her assistance. What if there are formal place settings at the reception? Oh, dear.
2. Do inventory with Dualla and make sure the accounts are in order. Why are we always running short on Darkmoon Special Reserve? Ask the Bouncers to keep a keen eye on the stockroom - make additional payment to the Baron in order to see that it actually happens.
3. Take Broody for a walk - he seems a bit dejected lately. Perhaps I should allow him to rampage through the Bloodsail Buccaneer Camp?
4. Ask Nikoleta to go with me for the final fitting of my wedding dress next week. I do hope it fits perfectly!
5. Gather materials for Miss Rosannah's tailoring order. Make note of her measurements in the morning when she comes by the Tavern for her interview.
