grade stuff
i got a B- in The Planets!!!! a class i was certain i would fail! a class i'd considered taking pass/fail but that it was too late in the year! alas, i couldn't muster the B required to get AP credit, but holy crap, a B- is so much better than i thought i'd do!
i also did quite well in english and psych (important, as they are my majors) and am waiting on CCIV
also, i might actually be able to write a thesis in english, as long as i pick my classes carefully and never get below a B+ in any of them. yay!
i'm probably going to have the same GPA this semester that i had last semester despite doing half the work and spending all my time partying, hanging out, and sleeping. i think i've learned very good lessons from this:
1) study smart, not hard
2) as long as the non-academic thing you are doing relaxes you, it isn't a waste of time
3) don't procrastinate in little bits, try to work, and then go back to boring procrastination. instead, do fuck-all on an assignment until the day before it's due, which is when you would have started being productive anyway, and enjoy life
