Worst. Birthday. Ever.
So, it's bad enough that I had to turn 29 today (just one more year to 30, yeah I know) but it just got worse from there. Work was absolute hell today, just one thing after another. First I slipped and fell twisting my ankle and slamming my elbow into the floor, which caused me to be in pain for most of the day. Then we get a freak torrential downpour (seriously, they didn't get a drop even ten miles south) which shuts the power down for a long time and makes our jobs just that much more difficult because everything's done on computer. It figures that this stuff would happen on my birthday, I should have done what I usually do and asked for the day off. Hopefully next year will be better, turning thirty along with all that shit might just make me hurt somebody.
