Well, that was some storm. The basement by the back patio flooded, but the sewing room did not. So after both of us got home (Quix from cards and me from Mrs. Ohno's) we started dealing with the damn water.
I'll skip to the end because I'm really tired and describing everything we did in detail is gonna wear me out.
End result:

Asthma attack. That sucks ass
Other highlights of the day:
Playing Spider honor this afternoon (and lost at 38 honor. The basic engine is working, just need to tweak it a bit)
Playing rummy and feeling like moral support for Mrs. Ohno and Zoe
OMFG MY SILK CAME IN!!!!
Got the sweat layer for the costume project done. Go go linen scraps!
Took more pics of costuming progress including the dyed linen for hakama. There are pics at every step of the process so far.
