Icesave latest is that basically the Icelandic government have said "Ha ha ha, we don't have any money to compensate you with, and even if we did, we'd give it to Icelandic nationals first", but the UK government have said that they will step in to make sure we get our money back.
Should I be reassured [Y/N]?
Given that all the major UK banks lost a 1/3rd of their value overnight, I think I should not be *overly* optimistic. Surely if the UK banks are in trouble they will get priority when the government is dishing out help/compensation?
Is it time to start stocking up on dehydrated food yet? :)
