[Temari is waiting for Ino just outside the shopping centre, still trying to think who to make her dress up as. Wearing her customary smirk to scare of random people, she's not paying much attention to the people around her

[A tinkling of a bell, a "I'll be back in a couple of hours, see you dad!", and Ino steps out of the shop -- a giant flower arrangement between her arms.

Craning her neck to see past it.] Yo!

[She's interrupted from her train of thought by a flower arrangement with legs.]

... Ino? Are you planning on carrying that around with you the whole day? [Skeptical glance]

What I'm planning is getting rid of it as soon as possible.

Anyway~ Where to?

How, exactly? [Laughing a little- she looks a little ridiculous.]

[Shrugs, walking into the building.] What exactly do you want for your birthday, anyway?

[boaring]

Delivery for the cute [kinda dorky] guy who works at the costume store. [Looks like they're heading there first.]

... I'm not just going to tell you!

Isn't he supposed to be the one bringing you flowers?? [Maybe they'll get a discount. >:) ]

Geez, it'd make life so much easier if you did..

Ah, the sad life of a florist~ Watching people come in and out, looking for flowers for someone who isn't you.

[Would be wagging a finger at you if her hands weren't otherwise occupied. Tsk tsk.] The surprise is the best part.

Poor girl. [Plucks out a flower from the arrangement, possibly ruining it, and offering it to Ino. Even though she didn't have a spare hand.]

Here. Happy birthday! [Smug smile.]

Yellow chrysanthemum? Didn't know you felt that way. [She smiles, shifting the vase in her arms so she can reach for the flower, tucking it into her hair. Before veering off to the right, to their destination.]

[Temari groans. Flower meanings. She'd forgotten.] They're just flowers! Why does every freaking species need a particular, HIDDEN meaning?!

[Follows Ino while talking.] Alright, just tell me what a yellow chrysanthemum symbolises..

It's an old fashioned thing. With forbidden loves and all, things have to remain unspoken. Sometimes it's subtly or death.

[Winks, blowing a kiss in Temari's direction as they enter the store. ;o] A secret admirer.

... There are alternatives to subtlety. [Temari would know.] It makes it so much more complicated!

Oh, of course. Yeah, that's totally me. [Snorts, secret admirer, Temari? She rolls her eyes at her before stopping and staring at all the costumes. Wow.]

[boaring]

Yeah, I thought so too. Somehow I don't think secret admirers are as straightforward.

You can start looking for a costume, wait here for a sec. [Saunters over to the cashier. A little charm, some flirting here and there, and Ino returns. She dumps the flowers at Temari's feet.]

Do you come here a lot? [Smirks at her, then turns her attention to the clothes. There are some really strange ones..] Hey, do you like this pig costume?

[Sticks the pretty flowers into her bag.] Thanks. What do they mean? [She can't even identify them :| ]

Only for special occasions. And the flowers -- it's a jumble of things but I guess you can say someone has a case of the unrequited.
