A year for snow
So, it would appear that we have snow again! It was spitting snow earlier, but it now seems to be coming down in earnest. I thought it was rain, but the roof next door seems to be getting whiter. Kind of fun!
jkyllo is due in around 11 PM, so I hope SeaTac isn't too bad. I'd be annoyed to know he was flying around above me, waiting to land :) When we came home from San Jose, we flew right over my neighborhood on the flight path for landing, so I'm sure he will too, coming from LA.
Selfishly, I hope it snows heavily sometime around 1 or 2 AM so he can work from home tomorrow. Yes, we are too close to the city to be truly snowbound, but if no-one he supports makes it to the office... Plus he has his cell phone and a DSL connection, so little is lost by being at home.
In the meantime, I'm reading my way back through the Lord Peter Whimsy mysteries by Dorothy Sayers. I haven't read most of them in years, so it's nice. I've turned the heat on, and soon will retire to my bed with tea, so the cats can all climb all over me while I read. Being in bed makes your lap so much bigger, and I do have three cats now!
